Latoyia Lacey aids with operations, business registrations, certifications, and licensing. Lacey has completed courses in Business Administration and Accounting and has acquired a decade of data entry, finance, and customer service. She provides bookkeeping and administrative support for Embrace Partners. 

Latoyia is a results-oriented individual with vast experience in customer service, which includes account management and hosting. She is established in advanced Microsoft Office and computer technology and considered an excellent leader of both people and projects.

 

 

Jose De La Cruz

Senior Financial Analyst

Jose De La Cruz is a bilingual (Spanish/English) financial strategist and surety bonding expert. As a key member of the Embrace team, he leverages a unique blend of financial analysis and hands-on surety brokerage. He is also instrumental in developing new strategies for growth. His expertise is essential for helping contractors of all sizes navigate the complexities of securing bonding and achieving their financial goals.

Jose’s work is critical to our mission of empowering businesses and ensuring their long-term success.

  • Jose provides strategic financial analysis that helps contractors understand and improve their financial health. This expert insight allows him to recommend customized solutions that strengthen a company’s profile and prepare them for growth.
  • Surety Bonding & Underwriting: As a seasoned surety bonding expert, Jose underwrites surety for Embrace’s in-house Managing General Agent (MGA). This gives Embrace the direct underwriting authority needed to offer more innovative and flexible solutions to contractors of all sizes, from small and emerging businesses to large, established firms.
  • Broad Market Reach: Being fluent in both English and Spanish allows Jose to effectively serve a wider, more diverse client base, ensuring no business is left behind due to language barriers.
  • Strategic Growth: Beyond his core roles, Jose has been a key figure in developing new strategies for growth at Embrace, solidifying his role as a forward-thinking leader who contributes directly to the company’s expansion and market positioning.

Gaylene F. Santos

Compliance and Communication Specialist

Gaylene F. Santos is a skilled communicator, compliance professional, and strategic organizer with over 20 years of experience as a professional technical writer in New York City. As Compliance & Communication Specialist at Embrace, Gaylene ensures that messaging is not only clear and compliant, but inclusive, compelling, and rooted in the firm’s mission to expand opportunity for diverse businesses nationwide.

Gaylene is also responsible for proposal development, content review, and regulatory communication. She collaborates with senior leadership and business development teams to craft responses that reflect Embrace’s strengths, track record, and alignment with public agency goals. Her precise editorial style and deep understanding of language allow her to translate complex material into accessible, results-focused messaging.

Gaylene holds a Juris Doctor from Yeshiva University’s Cardozo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from City College of New York. With a lifelong passion for social justice and economic equity, Gaylene is deeply committed to Embrace’s mission to align corporate America to bridge the gaps of inequality.

 

Rassiel Genao Abreu

Executive Assistant to David Cayemitte

Rassiel Genao Abreu brings a unique blend of construction industry experience, operational precision, and multilingual communication skills to her role as Executive Assistant to David Cayemitte, CEO of Embrace Partners. With over 12 years of hands-on experience in construction, Rassiel understands the fast-paced, detail-driven nature of the industry—making her an invaluable asset in managing logistics, schedules, and coordination for high-performing teams. Rassiel oversees calendar and workflow coordination ensuring that events and meetings are executed seamlessly.

Fluent in Spanish and English, Rassiel’s approachable style, organizational talent, and construction acumen help create a welcoming and well-structured environment where our clients are well served.

Rassiel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Montclair State University. 

 

Ramila Lopinto

Staff Accountant

Ramila Lopinto is an accounting professional whose foundation in the field began with her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Baruch College, where she developed a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. She expanded this knowledge through hands-on roles in tech-driven and service-oriented organizations, gaining experience in bookkeeping, reconciliations, AP/AR management, payroll processing, and audit preparation across both corporate and nonprofit environments. Her work has centered on improving financial accuracy, strengthening internal systems, and supporting data integrity across modern accounting platforms.

At Embrace Partners, Ramila contributes to a range of core accounting functions, including cash applications, journal entries, bank and GL reconciliations, monthly financial statements, collections, reporting, and audit support. She is developing deep expertise in the Applied Epic system and applies a detail-oriented, process-focused approach to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the company’s financial operations.

Outside of work, Ramila enjoys hiking, exploring nature, and creating and cooking new recipes for friends and family. She is excited to apply her skills, curiosity, and collaborative approach to help Embrace Partners grow and maintain a solid financial foundation.

Cindy Huang

Staff Accountant

Cindy Huang is a passionate accounting professional with a strong background in financial reporting and a drive to develop strategic financial solutions. Her career began at a global agency, where she honed her core accounting skills, and she later deepened her financial acumen in the reinsurance sector through valuable experience at AIG. Cindy is bilingual Mandarin/English.

Cindy assists CFO Shashi Galabya with a range of accounting functions and she supports the financial management of the Cayemitte Capital Management Program. In this role, she ensures financial accuracy, transparency, and compliance across all program operations.

Currently residing in New York, Cindy is excited to leverage her expertise to build impactful financial strategies for the insurance and surety industry. Outside of work, she enjoys unwinding with classical music and exploring the city’s vibrant bakery scene.

 

Michelle Strange

Certified Insurance Service Representative

Michelle C. Strange, CISR is a licensed insurance professional with over 30 years of experience in personal and commercial lines, specializing in account management, policy servicing, and client retention. Holding the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and pursuing CISR Elite, she has managed large books of business across multiple carriers, overseen renewals and endorsements, and supported both personal and commercial lines teams. Known for her commitment to client service and operational excellence, Michelle is a trusted advisor with proven expertise in navigating complex insurance needs.
