Frank Caifa is presently Head of Sales and Business Development for Embrace Partners. In this role he is charged with working to grow both premium placed through Embrace’s carrier partners as well as growing revenue for The Company’s overall operations. He is also responsible for growing and developing an internal sales team to prospect both large and medium sized retail brokerage operations. Mr. Caifa is charged with maintaining the primary relationship for Embrace’s largest clients and making sure they are informed of The Company’s products and suite of services.

Frank also is instrumental in interfacing with Embrace’s carrier partners. He is responsible for engaging with senior management of the insurance companies both to initiate new appointments and to make sure metrics and other agreed upon growth goals are met with each partner. This includes not only premium growth but also lines of business written.

He has a deep bench of contacts on the insurance company side having “grown up” working at AIG with several individuals currently employed at very senior levels for companies such as AXIS, Chubb-Westchester, Liberty-Ironshore, AWAC, AIG-Lexington, and Starr.

Mr. Caifa is also responsible for making sure Embrace’s message is delivered to the marketplace through advertising and being prominently displayed at various insurance industry events around the country. He is charged with making sure Embrace is attending the events with the broadest range of attendees that can take advantage of the ecosystem of products that Embrace can bring to the table.

Mr. Caifa was formerly at CRC as Business Development Leader initially working in the northeast corridor of the country prior to joining the National Marketing Team. He focused on CRC’s larger Association relationships meeting with both senior management of association partners like SIAA, SmartChoice, and Keystone, as well as the individual retail members of each group. He and the team were successful in driving overall growth with the association partners written premium between 20%-40% annually since 2019. Combined premiums for the groups he worked with exceeded $600 million dollars at the end of 2022.

While at CRC Frank worked in the areas of primary and excess casualty, professional lines, trucking and transportation, agriculture, and property. He has extensive experience in placing construction risks, both project specific and practice policies in New York as well as around the country. He assisted placements in long and short haul trucking as well as hard-to-place property along the coasts as well as for buildings previously damaged by fires and windstorms. He also aided large placements of D&O and EPLI risks for both publicly traded and non-public corporations with billions in revenue.

Frank Caifa is a former Assistant Vice President in the Ecommerce Division of AIG Small Business. His primary responsibilities were marketing, training, underwriting, and managing the NY Region’s Ecommerce’s production. Mr. Caifa spent extensive time in the territory training existing customers and discovering new sources of revenue. The NY Region accounted for approximately 40% of the entire country’s annual revenues. Prior to managing the NY Region, Mr. Caifa was responsible for both the Chicago and Cleveland regions for AIG Small Business.

Frank Caifa is a former Vice President of Swiss Re’s Financial Services Business Group and member of the unit’s Global Weather Desk. Mr. Caifa, who was based in New York, was responsible for the development, marketing, and underwriting of simple or complex weather products, which combine traditional risk transfer, financing, and capital market techniques, primarily for large U.S. corporations and insurance companies. His main focus and operational authority was for the U.S. and Canada, although he collaborated closely with the European Team located in Zurich, Switzerland.

Swiss Re had been a major player in the weather business since September 1998 and Mr. Caifa was at the genesis of its operations. He was quoted regularly in publications such as Environmental Finance and Derivatives Week and has appeared on CNBC to discuss the future of the weather industry. He also contributed the Weather Note Securitization chapter to the published book titled Climate and the Weather Risk Market. Mr. Caifa has spent over 25 years working in or with the insurance industry, and has developed programs for corporate and insurance company clients while serving in positions at AIG Risk Finance and Swiss Re. He received is B.B.A. from Adelphi University.  He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in New York and a licensed securities representative and investment advisor having passed the Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 exams, as well as a licensed insurance broker for Property and Casualty.
